Wow! What a day! This afternoon Nikki and Chris welcomed their new pink bundle, Eva Dorothy, into the world. Not only was Eva born on “Hug a Musician Day” but also on Nikki’s birthday!! Happy Birthday Nikki!!

Another part of Jim’s birthday present :) Tickets to the 2009 Crusty Demons tour – a dirt bike stunt show for the uninitiated. It was great!

Yup, today it was time to go walkies again for the 2009 RSPCA Million Paws Walk. It was an awesome morning – something that we’d been waiting 2 years for! 2007′s was a rather a miserable affair and about 5 minutes into last year’s walk Sarah tripped over and howled for the rest of the way around!

This year we walked with a mate of Nic’s and his horse-sized great dane – Jed, the very gentle giant. While there were no cats at this year’s even (we did spot one last year) this time around we did see someone who must have read it as the “Million Claws Walk” and come with their pet galah!

The “what on earth was she thinking” award this year though must go to our madam Premier Anna Bligh… her outfit was taking Brisbane pride just that tad too far. And those shoes ain’t exactly walking shoes either!!

I’m really quite proud of  these two :) I made them for a friend who asked me to make some “surf” and “flamenco” inspired nappies.
