Jim and I spent three days up at Mt Tamborine for our second wedding anniversary. We chose to stay at Hillside B&B because Puli Puppies are welcome there too! The owners of Hillside, Isla and Dave, were really warm and friendly and didn't mind at all that Kormos wandered right through their house like he owned the place!

The view from the deck.

Jim, Kormos and me at the top of Mt Tambourine and the 'backyard' of Hillside

Just before I took this photo Kormos walked backwards off the deck and fell off :) Luckily he fell into a soft bush and was unharmed when Jim climbed down to get him...

The lounge room and the chair that Kormos claimed.

The bedroom - very comfy bed with lots and lots of fluffy pillows.

We were spoilt with cable tv, a dvd player, a cupboard full of movies and a surround sound system to enjoy them on.

The log fire kept us nice and warm at night. We didn't even have to chop or collect the firewood :)

Almost everyone who wrote in the Visitor's book in our room raved about the breakfast at Hillside - with good reason! The menu includes museli, yogurt, bread, hash browns, fruit salad (all homemade) with eggs, sausages, bacon, tomatos, juice, coffee milk.. all served up with a magnificent view that goes all the way to the Gold Coast and Pacific Ocean.

It was a bit chilly to go swimming...
...though Kormos nearly went for a dip when he was trying to drink the pool water . That's not his head sticking up there on the edge of the deck!

The historic tram tunnel at Canungra - 150m of tunnel carved out of solid rock.
Kormos thought the tunnel was great fun. He ran back and forward, from one end to the other followed by a huge cloud of dust.

A section of the road to Canungra is so narrow that only one direction of traffic can pass though it at a time. This photo was a fluke - with both the red and green lights on at once.
We came home via the Gold Coast and stopped at Broadbeach so Kormos could have a paddle.

Kormos checking out the ducks and seagulls in the pond.
He watched them very intently and was just itching to hop over the fence and anti-herd them :)
